I judge american style restaurants based on their fries. This place has great fries that are actually crisp and seasoned. Decent burger. Not overly crowded but so you can always find a table. Staff are always super nice.
Had a good lunch with some friends from out of town. We sat out back and it was great but we where very surprised when the acorns started falling on the sheet metal roof above us. Despite that the meal was good. The chicken fingers where frozen but not bad. The French dip was where it was at though! The turkey club was okay and the fries and onion rings where okay too. The special roast beef sliders where on point. They went too fast to get a picture of though. The waitress was super friendly and down to earth 10/10 would recommend for service.
Absolutely love the huge beer selection and all the food; fried pickles are AMAZING, great mozzarella sticks, loved the Greek Salad Wrap and Sicilian Chicken Paninis. Servers sometimes needed to be called over instead of checking in, but as expected for a casual bar and grill.
My buddy brought me here saying it was the best burger he has had since he moved to Boston.
And damn he was not lying. Felt a bit like Jules from Pulp fiction. "Mmm. This IS a tasty burger!"
These people have perfected bar food. Even the fries and onion rings were perfect.
The servers were welcoming and nice. They have a pretty large menu as well. Both beer and food.
My only ding is the sound system is very loud, but it is a sports bar essentially, so it's to be expected.
Either way, whom ever is running the kitchen deserves serious praise!
Came in to meet friends for food and drinks a couple months back. Good pub atmosphere. Ended up passing on the food because the prices are too high for pub grub. Couple pints of Guinness and a couple of Miller bottles ran me about $50 after tip. I’m all set.
This place is the bees knees if you want to catch some euro-sports with your mates over a full-Irish breakfast and coffee (or mimosas) on a Sunday morning.
Service, value, taste, sports, all 10/10
Great food and staff. Even the people patronizing the place were very friendly. The food was good. We had allergy concerns but they provided us the best alternate options. In the end, we were very pleased and had a good time. We will definitely go back when we are in town.
Best nachos in Watertown! I wish they brought back the Armenian flag inside, though.
